Hi, I am Shepherd
Shepherd Bennett Bell is four years old and our youngest son. He is a natural comedian. He goes out of his way to talk to strangers and make them smile. (We can never be sure what will come out of his mouth!) He likes to play rough with his brothers but is so gentle and sweet to any younger children. Shep is confident and outgoing. He enjoys watching Power Rangers, Minecraft, building Magna tiles, and playing battle. He is an excellent climber and seems to be on track to be as athletic as his big brothers. We enjoy conversations with Shepherd. He already looks at the world in a unique way and is so fun to talk to. Shep is brave, feisty, and sweet.
Shepherd’s Favorite Things
Playing Games
Shepherds really enjoys playing his tablet. His favorite games are Minecraft, Tag with Ryan, and Bluey. He will join in with his big brothers playing Minecraft together or just play his tablet beside them while they play Nintendo. He also loves watching videos on and cartoons on his tablet. Having his own device makes him feel like one of the "big kids".
Playing Outside
Shepherd loves playing outside. His favorite things to do are ride his scooter, play in his sand box or water table, and swim in "Mema's" pool. He has gotten really good at making it all the way down a hill on his scooter and loves to try and do tricks. Shepherd can spend hours playing tractors in his sandbox or pouring water, making "potions" in the water table. And, like big brothers, he loves to spend a whole day swimming.
Playing Pretend
Shepherd has an amazing imagination and loves to play pretend. He can make up amazing worlds and characters (complete with costumes) and play independently or with brothers. His favorite type of pretend play is to battle a "Bad guy" and save the world. He also enjoys less dramatic pretend, setting up restaurants or shops for the family to visit.
Climbing
Shepherd is an amazing climber. We have a jungle gym and tree house that he has mastered climbing on top of. He feels really proud of himself when he reaches the top. When we go to the park, he will immediately see how high he can climb on the equipment. Shepherd loves facing a challenge and reaching his goal, and he is definitely our little dare devil!
Ice Cream
Shepherds favorite treat is ice cream. If there is ever a special occasion or even if we are just out in town, he wants us to stop for an ice cream. He loves checking all the flavors and choosing his favorite of the day (typically banana or superman). We have a favorite ice cream shop in town called Pink Dipper that we frequent often. It is special because it was their dad's favorite ice cream shop when he was a kid too!
