WorkOut

Evan and Becca have made a commitment to work out regularly and stay active. They really enjoy going to the gym as a family. Thier local gym is owned by a family friend and has an amazing atmosphere. The regulars have become a second family. The receptionist is the sweetest and will often play Nintendo with the boys. The kids spend most of their time there playing games or visiting with friends, but we hope one day they join in our family workouts. Another child would fit right in. Having plenty of friends waiting their turn to love on baby.

Coaching soccer has been an amazing experience for Evan and Becca. We have all made lasting friendships on the field. Otey started soccer when he was four years old, and Evan has coached his team ever since. Becca recently took on coaching the littles. Last year Otey and Wiley were both on the team together. We watched them both grow as soccer players and work hard every week. That hard work was rewarded when their team took home the season and tournament wins. We would love the chance to be involved and supportive of another child's hobbies and interests.

Something the boys love to do with Dad is skateboard. We have taken them to ride at skate parks. They have a little more learning before they are riding rails or half pikes, but we enjoy seeing how hard they are working to get better. We have even picked a campsite at the lake we visit often because it has an awesome loop for the boys to ride. Every day they will take the loop up a hill and ride the straight road back to the campsite. Even Shepherd can sit on his board and take the ride down.

Any time Becca gets a fun idea, Evan goes along. Last summer Becca wanted to try paddle boarding. So, the family loaded them up and went to the lake. Now we often take them out on the water. Paddling together, swimming, eating snacks, and looking for wildlife. Once we paddled to an island in the middle of the lake. We were able to walk all around our private island and explore. The family has now gotten two more so the big boys can paddle their own. Freeing up Mom and Dad to paddle Shep and baby when they're old enough.
